Samsung put out a great new Super Bowl tease that is not only hilarious, but horrifyingly accurate.
Actually, the Super Bowl is not the problem for me, personally - our client is a sponsor, so yeah, if I had timed our San Francisco trip for any other weekend ever? I would be going to the Super Bowl right now. Actually, I would have been in New Orleans since Monday, walking on the field, photographing players on media day, and going to the big game on Sunday. But, it actually worked out for the best as my coworker who's gone in my place is from Baltimore and is an enormous Baltimore Blackbirds fan, so this trip is pretty much his dream come true.
Anyway, since we are part of the action, we can use the term Super Bowl and players' images and all that blah blah blah. But, with the London Olympics? It was this, spot-on. You couldn't say London or Olympics or Gold Medal, but "gold" was OK as long as it wasn't accompanied by "medal" and "games" as long as it wasn't London Games or Olympic Games or 2012 Games. Seriously. Trying to fashion something relevant without mentioning any of those things? Super. fun. It makes this commerical perfect.
I don't know much about football but I believe it's technically the Baltimore Ravens ;-P
